Easter in Daylesford
The Australian 3-Day Orienteering Championships were held around Castlemaine and Bendigo. We stayed with both the Kullmann's and Arthur's in a house in Daylesford.
Marian won W55+AS
Clive was leading M55+AS, but finished second
Anne came very close to winning and was third in W21B
I managed 9th in Mens elite, out of a strong field of around 40.
Rosemary was 14th in W55A, after being as high as 5th on Day 2.
The races were held at Eaglehawk (Prologue), Newstead, Watte Gully South and Mineral Springs. The weather was mostly great, and the terrain was fantastic for a 3-Day competition.
Mason spent Easter Sunday searching for Easter eggs around the house. Footsteps could be heard before anyone else in the house got up!
