NSW National Orienteering League Trip
The whole family drove up to Cowra, NSW, for the first 3 rounds of the 2006 National Orienteering League. Bruce came 10th in the sprint in the morning and had a very good run to come 6th on Saturday afternoon in the middle distance.
We stayed overnight at Wyangala Dam cabins amongst the kangaroos. Sunday was another hot day for the long distance, with Bruce fading towards the end to finish 14th. Overall a good start to the season, with Bruce coming 7th in the National League standings.
On the way home, Mason watched The Heffalump Movie about five times on the new portable DVD player. Torren and Mason took the front seats to give mum and dad a rest.
