Orienteering Season Opener
We all travelled up to Porcupine Ridge (15 mins NE of Daylesford) for the Orienteering Season Opener event. It was a mass start 'peg' race with quite a good turn up. Basically, if you were in the lead, you had to run a penalty control to allow the others to catch up. Consequently the result meant nothing, but it was a good opportunity to get back into the bush and practice orienteering technique and terrain running.
Mason and Torren played in the dirt, while Bruce was elected as President (5th year) at the Melbourne Forest Racer's AGM.
Torren also went to the playground a couple of times and managed to climb up the steps and slide down all by himself.
