Christmas 2009

We spent Christmas in Adelaide. It ended up becoming very hot towards the end of our stay so we made the most of Uncle Geoff's pool. Bruce and I even managed some child free time with a half day in the city spending money on the first day (in Adelaide) of the sales. While we were shopping, Grandma and Grandpa took the kids to the zoo to see the pandas.

We also spent a morning at Semaphore Beach with Lauren. In between this there was lots of playing with presents and trying to stay cool. We of course chose the hottest day to drive back to Melbourne (41C) after delaying our return by a day.

Sophie at Gymnastics

Sophie has been going to Gymnastics for two terms and loves it. It's not too technical; lots of jumping on the trampoline, basic beam walking and some forward rolls but it's lots of fun. She has proven to be quite fearless.

Creche Graduation

Torren graduated from the Kinder room at our childcare centre. The centre had a great graduation ceremony and then a Christmas concert which Sophie also participated in.

Mason's broken arm

Mason broke his arm in the playground at school the day before the party at the traffic school. An almost 5 hr visit to the Austin Hospital resulted in a cast up to his arm pit. He had a couple of days off school. All his classmates signed his cast.
