Child Labour

Nothing can be done around the house without a team of 'helpers'. Sometimes these helpers are helpful, other times they are not. This time they were very helpful and they will be booked the next time the car needs to be cleaned.

Look at us!

We stopped at Holbrook on the way home from Bathurst. Not a fantastic playground but good enough for the kids to stretch their legs after being in the car for 5 hrs.

More Orienteering

From Sydney, the races moved out to Bathurst. It was mostly very cold and wet, with the sun only appearing for the last race of the week. We visited the Three Sisters at Katoomba, Mt Panorama, and Jenolan Caves. The caves were spectacular and the kids did a fantastic job walking up and down the 500 steps on our cave tour.

Holiday in Sydney

We visited Sydney in October for the World Masters Games. We stayed with our wonderful friends Sarah and Mick in Fairlight. They were very accomodating for our family of 5, as they are also a family of 5. In between the Orienteering events, we visited Manly Beach and Taronga Zoo.

Bruce had a fantatic race in the Final of the Sprint Race at Olympic Park, winning a Bronze Medal. He was hoping for a top 6 placing and was thrilled to do better than that. He was only beaten by former World Champion, Carsten Jorgensen and Great Britain's Nick Barrable.
