Fun in the sun

A couple of weeks after Easter, we all flew to Queensland for a 'sun break.' The weather was fabulous and we enjoyed three days of playing on the beach and a day at Australia Zoo. It was a relaxing, fun trip and just what we needed before we returned to the deep dark depths of Winter in Melbourne.

Home Alone at Easter

While Bruce and Anne skipped away to Tasmania for the Australian 3 Days, the kids were left in Melbourne with a list of interesting things to keep them occupied. Luckily Grandma and Grandpa came from Adelaide to help them with their list. They had four days of extreme fun and didn't seem to miss Mum and Dad at all. The extreme fun things included a special train ride on the Puffing Billy in the Dandenongs, with a paddle boat ride at Lakeside. Other activities that filled up their days included a visit to the Aquarium, Eureka Tower, an Easter egg hunt and fun in the sand at Middle Park beach.

March Mayhem in Melbourne

What a busy month. The kids have been to the Melbourne Motor Show, Melbourne International Airshow, Moomba Fireworks, the footy at the MCG, the Melbourne Formula 1 Grand Prix, and a flight to Adelaide for a weekend with the grandparents.
