Mason is 6!

Mason celebrated his 6th birthday with a pirate party for all of his class friends. Mum was in Perth, but joined in via video conference on the laptop for the party.

Grandma and Grandpa flew to Melbourne for the party and did a great job making the cake and arranging the party activities.

Mason received heaps of police Lego sets including the police station, police aeroplane and police helicopter. He aslo got a tranformer, puzzle and a hot wheels racing set.

Mason and Torren wanted to post this picture of Opa playing cricket with them on his 70th birthday, so that they can remember the great times that they had with him in Perth.

Willy passed away on Thursday 21st August 2008, aged 72.

Willy's concern was not living long enough to see his grandchildren grow up. He was able to spend a great couple of weeks at home with Mason, Torren and Sophie last month. In his last days Willy enjoyed watching the Tour de France and his adopted country of Australia competing in the Beijing Olympic games.
