New Internet User

Mason discovered the internet on the weekend, and his favourite site is;
http://www.bobthebuilder.com

He has learnt how to use the mouse at Kinder, so spent many hours on the weekend colouring in solving puzzles on the Bob The Builder site.

Torren just loves Thomas the Tank Engine. It is almost impossible to get an engine out of his hands, and he loves their batteries on and watching them drive across the floor. We are now out of AA batteries as Torren has used them all up!

On the way home from orienteering on Sunday, we watched a 747 aircraft take off from the viewing area next to the runway.

Mason's first footy match

Kangaroos v Adelaide, Round 7 2006 Telstra Dome
Adelaide continued on their merry way in season 2006, disposing of the Kangaroos by 56 points.

Mason loved the first quarter when Adelaide kicked 9 goals to 1, but then lost a bit of interest as the game slowed down after that.

Faculty in Kuala Lumpar

I'm currently in KL, Malaysia, to teach a Technology course to around 24 Accenture Analysts and Consultants. This involves preparing and presenting a number of Technology Architecture presentations over 5 days.

I'm staying at the Sheraton Imperial Hotel, about 2km from the Petronas twin towers.

I've just been for a run in a local Kuala Lumpar rainforest (beneath KL Tower above). I came across around a dozen monkeys on my run. However, unlike Troy de Haas last year in Hong Kong, I had no monkey to get off my back.

It certainly knows how to rain here in KL. Yesterday afternoon we had about 50mm of rain in 2hours.
